I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)

Bayou Dreams - Lynn Lorenz "Holy shit.""Now isn't the place for swearing.""No, Mom," Scott didn't hold back on the sarcasm, "It's the place for voodoo and dead cats.""Hush." She waved at him. "Keep digging."It could have been great. The first half was very promising with some orignal ideas and a slow introduction to the main characters and the setting for the romance.BUT instead of believable or realistic characters the MCs remained pale and not very memorable. The story drifted very fast into sappy land and the well prepared for finale was very disappointing because none of the introduced "problems" was really dealt with (suddely being gay because the inner wolf is, falling in love with another straight guy, falling in love with a straight werewolf, voodoo and a lot more promising stuff that could have made this a great read). It had some great humor (see citation on the top) in the first half, a few interesting side characters. So this is a mixed rating: 4 stars for the first half, 1,5 for the second.
