I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Great historical! Loved the dialogues.
This was a great character-driven historical with wonderful dialogues and a solid plot (nothing to extravagant).
It also me showed what I am missing out on with not- or not-well-edited books (that I normally read...).
I am not a native speaker, but the elegance of the language, the rhythm and flow of dialogues, the overall feeling of place and time - it all screams of good editing.
Fantastic writing also, but also the perfect finish on all that. The error-less grammar and the broader vocabulary that was put to use.
Very highly enjoyable read!
