This was soooo good. It had so much witty banter, sarcasm and humor I had to laugh out loud.
One of my favourite quotes:
"Gods sure did know how to decorate. Maybe they had a god interior decorator. The god of Décor. He was probably gay with a really thick British accent."
This is an example of how Vervain was constantly musing about this and that - it was hilarious, at least to me.
Her love interest was hot, the story was solid, the world-building original enough to surprise from time to time.
A very wonderful discovery- this book shows so much potential.
