I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Rose started as a good heroine. But was soon to good to be true. And like any true Mary Sue all other girls wanted to have her men and even her sister was totally jealous and she was just such a good and caring person, bla bla bla.
Then you get treated to two love stories in this series.
But they feel like one. Because it is copy-paste from the first love story, only hair colour and name changed.
When Joe and Rose came together a lot of the suspense went out of the window - so the dream guy had to have some weakness to make him go away (insert unbelievable manipulation of his family here) and the new love interest take his place.
All other things stay the same (how Rose feels about him, how she feels when he kisses her, how they interact etc...)
So this part got boring pretty soon and with Rose becoming even more holy with every page, I decided to skip the rest of the series and cut my losses.
This is just not interesting enough - the mysteries are a little stupid and plenty ridiculous.
It was slightly entertaining and kept me reading, though I was grumbling through the last two books.
