I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
This had a lof of very entertaining dialogue, a dramatic and engaging "crime" plot full of murder and mayhem and a great romance.
It had a very likable heroine who tried to start a life of her own and enjoy it and a tortured hero who was incredibly attractive.
What made this so outstanding for me was the way Ian was described - the way his physicality enchanted Daisy. How visceral her reaction to him was. That was such a great slow and intense burn.
Great.
