I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)

This started strong.

On Solid Ground - Melissa Collins

Unfortunately it became repetitive and sappy in the end.

The two characters were interesting enough. I found the PTSD was handled very well in this book and not only as an "accessoire" to make a character more interesting.

I liked how the two MCs slowly came closer to each other.

the back and forth in the second half was annoying and I very much disliked the ready-made family with the conveniently orphaned niece as a cheap turn.

(show spoiler)

All in all a good read, but there was much more potential in the writing and the characters.
