4,5 stars.A great and well written story about a veterinarian and a blind teacher getting to know each other and falling in love. Carter, the vet, is the 1st person narrator and he appears as sensible, self-deprecating, humorous and very likable. Isaac appears moody and difficult first and he struggles over large parts of the story to grow into the relationship like Carter. What I liked best about this book: how humbly Carter describes his growing understanding of what challenges Isaac faces every day, e.g. in a simple bus ride.A very enjoyable read with an engaging couple.
