I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Not that it was a bad book. It wasn't. It had the same interesting and likable main characters, the same quirky and likable secondary cast with some small additions. It had the same mystery/suspense/sorcery and arcane conspirations for world domination.
And it basically had the same cover, too.
And that is my problem with this series.
The story felt extremely deja vue. Only the villain's name and back story changed and there was a water demon/deity involved in the conspiration for world domination in an of course totally different brotherhood than before. And I really really didn't appreciate Ival's epic stupidity(show spoiler)
I felt that the story didn't really move and I was bored and skimmed pages.
But maybe it's a case of "me, not the book".
