I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
I loved this book.
I was a bit hesistant to pick it up as the first installment was not centered on the romance but more on the intrigue and the political background and I was rather in the mood for romance.
But this one. Oh, yes. This one was romantic allright.
I liked David a lot in the first book, but found him a little prim and proper and so turn over his inclinations. In this sequel he has grown, has reflected on himself and his life - and I liked that this happened off screen in the two years since he last saw Murdo.
And Murdo. The bad boy who hides any softer sides behind sarcasm and suave manners.
I just loved how things evolved between those two and can only hope that the third part will come soon!
