I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
This was supposed to be a crime-romance-novella.
The crime part was mostly uninteresting and under-developed imho. It was predictable and not really vital to the real story. Which is the story of how the hunky Cop Nick reconnects with the queer and interesting Jem.
I enjoyed this very much - it was quite light-hearted and had a good flow. Jem was a very engaging character and Nick with all his affectionate exasperation about Jem's rather chaotic style was a good love interest with him.
