I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)

This fell a little short.

The Serpent Prince - Elizabeth Hoyt

Both the plot and the characters couldn't reach the same quality level as "Raven Prince".

I liked Simon very much, but Lucy was not so much a hit with me. I liked her fine in the beginning, but when she

left Simon because she decided what is right and what is wrong, she lost me. She knew that he had a dark side and promised him, that she would never leave him.

And then, the first time, he shows that darkness, she runs because he doesn't do what she says.

(show spoiler)

The plot reminded me a bit of a Georgette Heyer romance in the beginning (The black moth) - the recuperating beau with the dark secret, the beautiful young country miss.

It changed significantly after the first third.

As I said, I liked Simon and I felt for him.

And the sex scenes were hot - a nice surprise with a historical.
