I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)

A big finale. And with big I mean ginormous...

Emperor of Thorns - Mark Lawrence

There were some moments were the elaborate plotting, the twists and turns, the legions of characters and their always interwoven stories were a little too much.

It is not a funny or relaxing read. It takes concentration and a bit of dedication to go through all three of those books with Jorg.

(Who is by the way one of the most fascinating protagonists I ever read - not a hero, but so worth the time it takes to read him).

Small niggle: I don't really get why the only half-way graphic sex scene is with

Chella - of all women in this book...

(show spoiler)

The end is epic. It just is.

I knew a little in advance who the Dead King would be, there were quite the numerous hints, but I guess that this was deliberate.

It is a brilliant book - I am still very much in love with the basic principle of world-building here.

Great, great writing.
