I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
I read one book by the author which was hillarious and had a very very slow burn (not even a kiss in the first installment, not even a flirt, just a mere possibility).
And here: A heroine who is fascinated and attracted at first sight.
And inner monologue after seeing that guy twice (!): "What was it with that man? No matter how hard she tried to stay angry at him, he always managed to diffuse the situation and leave her wondering how he would look naked."
1. Why does she try to stay angry anyway? He helped her with getting her ruined car towed. He never in her loooong relationship did anything rude or offensive.
2. "he always managed": She met him twice. TWICE. Not exactly a base for saying how he always does things to her.
As this story started quite stupidly, I am going to stop here.
I am simply not interested as I can see clear as day how this will play out.
