I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
There are certain expressions that were so frequently used, they really got on my nerves. E.g. "healthy maleness" and "seductively" (obviously they smile, talk and do all other things seductively...that is "telling, not showing" in its purest form.).
There was no real plot. The sappy-ness factor of this novel was through the roof. There was just three or four good lines. The rest was a love-fest of epic proportions.
It ruined the story and the characters for me and I never want to read anything like this. So I am going to stay away from the next in line (another one where the super-hot player settles down with Ms Right).
