I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
It was not a bad book and it did pick up a bit of speed after the first 30%.
But it was still a weak one in this series. Maybe because the main couple was already told out in their novella. Maybe because they simply weren't really interesting characters (compared with pretty much everyone else).
I caught myself being more interested in the development of "the legion" than in Janvier and Ash. Their little drama was a bit too obvious and very clearly outlined.
The crime plot was ok, although it was a bit strange
(show spoiler)
I am so hoping for the next ones - about an Ilium or Aeodhan. Or anyone interesting.
I'd even rather read another Elena and Raphael book.
