I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Nothing special, but enjoyable.
Editing needed, shifter book cliches galore (including "fated mates") and a not especially original crime story. What I disliked most though was the haphazardly thrown in BDSM. Totally unnecessary for the story and not exactly exciting.
(Is there anybody out there who still thinks that spanking is oh so risqué?? That's like the most vanilla thing in the whole BDSM universe that I can imagine.)
This was still a nice read. It had a strong, kind of sassy heroine and a grumpy Alpha hero.
It had some nice banter and it had a good story twist at the end.
Not a brilliant book, but not awful either.
