I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Another winner in this series!
I very much liked Thatcher. He was so clumsy, but still so good.
His interactions, his inner motives, the dialogues - it all made the book so enjoyable.
The love interest was also very nicely done. An interesting and relatable woman. No beauty contestant, no wonder woman. Just a nice gal.
The story had the same great pace and good writing. I like the world-building a lot and it was very nice to meet again with the mercenaries of the Mandrake company.
