I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
This was an awesome ride.
Meda is the coolest heroine I read in a long, long time.
Not only because she is a bad-ass monster with (some) morals - no, it's because her very honest and not in the slightest apologetic inner monologues are brilliant fun.
She knows herself, she knows she is not "good", she is a soul-eater. But she does have some principles, instilled by her dead mother's memory.
I loved this book.
I had to laugh, I had to cry (honest, tears running down my face) and I enjoyed the hell out of this book.
Not only Meda rocks, her combatants are interesting, tough, sarcastic, heroic and great fun to read too.
