The relationship between the two MCs is established, their great true love stronger than anything and so on.

So the drama centers on their ready-made family. 

The last installment ended with Lee's conveniently pregnant sister at their wedding.

I don't want to spoil it for other readers, so no details. Just that I didn't like where the story was going.

Also the paranormal stuff was bordering on ridiculous. The crime story was boring to me.

I don't understand why Gideon had evolve like this

I liked him better as the silent and strong and good giant, the copper and all around good guy. He didn't need anymore special polish imho.

So, all in all, just ok.
