I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Depressingly current.
This is not a relaxing read. Not a "nice" book.
It was a tough read. I had to fight myself to finish it.
Very well written.
Almost painfully realistic. Except for the pregnant young girl, no heros in sight.
Not even good people. Just average awful people.
It felt a bit too pessimistic too me, but I guess it does illustrate the point rather well.
