I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)

Didn't like the heroine.

Bloodfire - Helen Harper

It was well enough written, and I basically liked everything about it, except the main character.

She was TSTL and had some serious anger management issues. It was not really clear why everyone wanted to protect her - even people who just met her, like the mage Alex, her new BFF.

The whole plan with being invisible seemed to have been to complex for her as she was totally unable to get a grip even for five minutes.

Then the totally unexplained hatred for the Brethren. Didn't make any sense.

And why she thought that she was the only one able to get the revenge for her killed Alpha was beyond me. And her total lack of caring, when half a dozen of the Brethren were killed.

She still kept stuff secret that could have helped them solve the problem earlier.

Also the totally surprising twist as to what she is? It was so glaringly obvious - see above, TSTL.

So I won't read any more about Red.

And please, dear authors, stop using that moniker for red-haired women. It is unoriginal and stupid.
