I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)

And that's on me. I just didn't want to cope with the teenagers anymore.
I love those kind of stories about lore with mermaids and so on.
The beginning was really really strong and creepy.
And from there it went downhill for me.
I think it would be a reasonably ok read for most readers who don't mind teenaged protags.
