I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
This was not funny. It probably was supposed to be light-hearted an funny. Like when Joe puts his head into the oven in his over-dramatic way, because his friend hinted that he found his house-guest attractive.
Rarely have I read a more embarrassingly not-funny scene.
And the clou:
"It's not just pie, Joe. I won't let you get away with that. You're sharing a little piece of yourself with the world and it's...amazing. (...) That's a gift."
Also the insta-boner knows best, and people who get beaten up and suffer from amnesia, smile and grin and chuckle a lot and also have no other worry in the world than getting it on with the totally hunky guy who saved them.
This was just so OTT and ridiculous.
Which I could have forgiven if it was entertaining or even mildly funny.
It was not.
