I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Strong, interesting and quirky female leads are definitely not this author's strength.
This one was even worse.
And another good and interesting male main charcter wasted.
With insta-love on top.
And I am really sick and tired of this "oho, we have this dangerous vampire-drug thing going on". It wasn't interesting in Carwyn's book and in Baojia's it was just a repetition and nothing new and exciting about it. No new revelations, no new development. Just a background for the passionate, investigative, beautiful reporter (yawn...) to get involved.
And the stupidity...all around. And especially of the females. I started to hate Brigid in this book - which says something as she had a very minor role.
Seems that all modern woman are stupid, have no self-preservation and really nothing to speak for them aside from looks and tasty blood...
