I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
DNF at 40% - not really gripping.
It was not all bad.
Just couldn't hold my interest. And what's with the stupid lists all the time, always "A this, B that". The world building was a little too complicated and not interesting enough.
I also didn't appreciate the slut-shaming. The female lead is possessed by the demon lust - which is the only reason she has sex. And she hates it. Because she is a good person. And wouldn't be a slut if not for the demon. And we know that women who have sex with different guys are bad. They are sluts and should be ashamed.
Well - not in my world.
I have nostalgic thoughts about Samantha from SATC - it seems like a life-time ago, that this life-style was ok.
