I'd do nothing but reading if I could (ok, maybe eat some great food, buy some fancy shoes between two books...oh, and spend some quality time with the gorgeous guy I married while I am on reading-break anyway...)
Nice one, but no competition to the "Magpie Lord" series
This had a surprisingly well done crime part.
The hero, a wounded and hurt ex-soldier, tries to clear an act of treachery and sabotage.
It was gripping and his pain and wish for justice was drawing me well into the story.
The romance part was more subdued, but still sweet.
